geraldosimiao Fedora 34 (KDE Plasma Prerelease) x86_64 - kernel 5.11.3-300.fc34.x86_64 - Aspire V3-571 V2.11 Intel i7-3632QM
jatin1812 Custom build - B550, AMD Ryzen 3600x, AMD 5700 XT Fedora 34 Workstation x86_64 [1] 1. Tested it on both Xorg and on Wayland. Settings in ibus-anthy are really the best compared to mozc settings. Also tried it on Fedora weblate for translation and it was a great experience overall, However it doesn't show kanji suggestions on Games that support ibus (input is working) CS GO and Dota 2. Also on Minecraft (Lunar) in full screen suggestions are not displayed but on a different resolution it does and commit has to done with ctrl + M as enter closes the chat in Minecraft. Verdict - ibus-anthy should come on top of windows instead and should have an option to force suggestions to appear on top of any application of any resolution.
mfabian Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-34-20210308.n.0.iso in qemu [1] 1. Installed from a live image to disc in Japanese. ibus-anthy was the default input method after installation. I tried it and it worked.
mfabian Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-34-20210308.n.0.iso, KVM, ja_JP [1] [2] [3] 1. OK.
2. #1936817, Trying to add a word to the dictionary caused a crash.
3. After installing ibus-gtk4 and gtk4-devel packages and starting gtk4-demo, then Entry -> Completion -> Run, I could type into the entry field using ibus-anthy or ibus-typing-booster. When using ibus-setup in XFCE and searching for input method, the search works indeed better, searching for "booster" directly works, one has not to search for "other" first.
petersen ja [1] [2] [3] 1. ibus-kkc was installed via langpacks-ja Defaults to Romaji (though this is in line with ibus-hangul)
2. Should improve kasumi button text to follow clearer Gnome HIG guidelines
3. Text input works but not other keys like Backspace, Enter, etc
petrvelicka Fedora Workstation 34 @ Dell Latitude E6540 [1] [2] [3] 1. Tested on a VM (Boxes). (I don't speak Japanese nor can I read the script, therefore I'm unable to comment on the accuracy of the input method, just on it working or not). When I clicked on "help" while being in the installer, the help was in English instead of Japanese (might be lack of translation of that particular page to Japanese though).
2. locale: en_IE.UTF-8
3. System locale -- en_IE.UTF-8, input method used: Chinese (Intelligent Pinyin) The selection of the possible completion variants is shown in the top left corner of the screen instead of the input field. Unable to delete the text from the input field.
pnemade F34 Silverblue, KVM, hi_IN, x86_64 [1] [2] [3] 1. On Hindi Desktop, ibus-anthy is available already, added it and used to type as given in Anthy testcase.
2. Followed the given test steps, I can see Anthy IME using kasumi-unicode dictionary command. Also registered few words which got saved under $HOME/.config/anthy/private_words_default file.
3. On Hindi Desktop, Sayura m17n map is available already, added it and used to type as given in testcase.

suanand rpi4 arm8 Fedora 5.11.3-300.fc34.aarch64 en_US, ja_JP [1] [2] 1. #1937276,
2. Able to run "Entry" -> "Completion" in gtk4-demo. Completion worked for "total" and "gnome" however nothing appears for other words like "hello", "risk", "down", tried for jp (anthy) input as well. Hit a "Segmentation fault" when I tried to close the dialogue box.
tagoh WS, KVM, ja_JP, x86_64 [1] [2] 1. Due to the default input mode in anthy is currently ASCII, one more action is needed to start inputing Japanese after switching layout. if we can't make "Japanese (Anthy)" default for Japanese instead of "Japanese" keyboard layout, should we make the default input mode "Hiragana"?
2. #1936817, Talked with Mike and found a way to reproduce it. added a comment in bug.
