2. Seems that two result reports were merged here. test OK but with the rported hardware error reports. Gnome4 update stalled at 36% 3. Stalled @ 36% for 3 hours during the rebooot conversion. Forgot about ESC to see text. Rebooted and installed updated download from software app. Reboot installed and I think I got the required result: New gnome4 40.0 desktop is here. Operation seems OK. |

Successful upgrade, however afterwards, running "hostnamectl" in terminal turns all characters into a hyperlink with a url of "https://fedoraproject.org" including all future text. Closing/reopening

Post running "gsettings set org.gnome.software show-upgrade-prerelease true" - "A notification of an available upgrade should appear." The notification did not appear. If not, note this as a bug.
Not clear if related, but upon reboot and or logout/login after the above command was run, there were "Problem Reporting" notification referencing "fwupd quit unexpectedly."
The touchpad on this laptop does not seem to be three finger capable for GNOME 40

Everything works well (even did a dnf upgrade after system-upgrade to F34), except running hostnamectl status makes all the terminal text become a link to https://fedoramagazine.org afterwards
(clearing the terminal does not help). Anyway, not a major issue IMO so marking this test as passed.
2. Upgrade went smoothly except for the issue with hostnamectl status (in the terminal) which turns anything after it into a link |

It went just fine, installing took about an hour, tho. The GNOME 40 is laggy and gestures poorly calibrated — they require too long movement.
When I tried to add an app to favorites for the first
time — it didn't move to app bar, but got duplicated (like in prev gnome).
Also, got a weird bug where workspace got strangely displaced and stuck, while I was closing app grid with gesture, but I can't reproduce it now.
Can confirm hostnamectl bug.
Also, I found a new Tour app not helping with activities — it wasn't clear enough about what they are and where to find them.
When doing any gesture fedora logo (from extension) is getting to the bottom for a second.
