mfabian WS, KVM, ja_JP, x86_64, Fresh [1] [2] 1. #2237374, Using ibus-anthy with the OSK doesn’t seem to work, clicking the candidate buttons on the OSK does not commit the candidate on the button but the current preedit. Tested on Wayland.
2. #2237486, Keyboard layout switching by ibus in Plasma Wayland works. But apart from that the experience of using ibus in Plasma Wayland is terrible. The preedit has no styling at all, not even a single underline. Switching between input methods is extremely slow and sometimes only happens after switching the focus several times. The ibus panel icon often keeps showing the previous input method long after the switch.
petersen WS ja_JP [1] [2] [3] 1. #2237374, committing from OSK candidates not working correctly
2. would be nice if more default-fonts got installed when upgrading
3. But would be better if we upgraded users from Lohit to Noto
pnemade SB, KVM, mr_IN, x86_64 [1] [2] 1. Default fonts packages for various languages are already installed by default.
2. default font for mr is now "Noto Sans Devanagari" and when I remove it default becomes "Lohit Devanagari" provided I already had "Lohit Devanagari" installed.
pnemade WS, KVM, en_IN, x86_64 [1] [2] 1. Upgrade testing worked for langpack-en update from F38 to F39 which installed default-fonts-core-sans package
2. Can see default-fonts packages already installed on the system. For en_IN installation, observed default-fonts-core-sans also installed by default.
