With any compression algorithm other than lzo, lzo-rle, or 842, restarting swap-create@zram0.service fails. The service's status then says this:

2. With swaponzram alone, earlyoom kill happens within 10 minutes. With disk-based-swap alone, it stops making progress and I kill it off after 30 minutes. With both, it usually fails within 10 minutes due to earlyoom, sometimes succeeds. But no errors, call traces, or crashes. |

just thought it's a little weird to failed like the following when host-memory-limit is set to smaller than the ram size

Made sure that both swap partitions were on (physical and zram). Initially, I had disabled the physical swap partition and hibernation would not work.
