archmunky HP 14-cf0013dx laptop. Test 1: btrfs, lvm-on-luks. Test 2: fresh ext4, lvm-on-luks [1] 1. Test 1 failed, rebooted to multiple failed services and hung with no desktop, no single user access - did not appear to finish the upgrade process successfully. Test 2 was clean install using ext4 on existing lvm-on-luks and upgrade worked. Only issue I'm seeing is that there is a significant delay in booting the new upgraded version.
