Live-iso: virt-manager VM, spice+virtio, 4GB ram | [1] | [1] The installation went fine. Only issue - after booting the live iso, pressing the "Install" button in the initial screen did not open installer. EDIT: it just took really long (40s) - the welcome screen's "Install" button provides no loading indicator, and the user has no way to know the installer is starting up in the background. The fedora-welcome GJS script (/usr/share/anaconda/gnome/fedora-welcome:107) just calls anacondaApp.launch() and immediately closes the window — no spinner, no "starting..." message. |

Several apps I opened took several seconds to load data and the initial button is Cancel, which reloads after the whole page loads, switching to option for Install. But I immidiatly feared the app began to install itself just by opening the page. | ||

No external drive for testing available, otherwise works. One glitch noticed: with "Expandable Folders in List View" I expended a folder with one image file and even the expander animated it did not show the content. I cannot reproduce on will though. It can also be a slowness due to thumbnailing, maybe, even for small images (50.6k here). I do not know. Not reported, due to lack of reproducibility.
[2] except of the test with the reviews, that I skipped |

Briefly tested by playing some media from my home server, no issues noticed. ETA: it's possible to for this to silently fail as a zombie process on missing codecs. I can re-produce the attached bug report via trying to play a .mov file from my server. Celluloid plays the video without issue, totem will open and display an error message about the missing codec (both installed as rpm's from official F45 repo).

Explored installed live system via SSH. Found a gnome-session-service coredump (SIGABRT) from the live ISO boot — the gnome-initial-setup session fails to shut down cleanly due to the missing gnome-initial-setup user (BZ#2511997). Also: gnome-boxes search provider spams errors when searching from the Overview (Boxes is installed but libvirt is not). No failed systemd units, no SELinux denials beyond BZ#2517426 (avatar), system otherwise healthy.
